| ye their just as good as any other mke itsbeen testd and proven
all you need to know about bying coilovers is tht its rust proof, 30% stiffer dampers, 30%stiffer
but its a fidly job with a mk4 cus u gt springs nd damper on bk not coilovers so its a bich to adjust
but fk is a decent mke, joms anothe good mke just keep away from jamex lol

| alright mate, im runnin on FK AK street coilovers myself m8, simple to fit and adjust m8, the front are full coilovers but the rear are height adjustable springs with uprated shocks, for the rear it took bout half an hour to an hour pending on whether or not the nuts have seized on the shocks, and bout an hour to hour an half for the front, once there on its a nice comfortable ride, not to hard an bouncy, ive still got another 5mm in the rear to go down and another 25mm in the front but dont wana risk goin to low as the rear engine mount is only 2in from the ground now!! hope this info was of use m8!! | |

| u running just springs or.... coliover set
i had jamex lowering springs on my mk4 1.6, nd without uprated dampers the wer usles, just mde the back end twich like hell :s
but suspension setup on a mk2 nd mk1 i thinks much better thn the mk4 i had, its coillovers all round, anti roll bars frnt nd back
the jom kit i gt on mine i thinks amazing, keeps the car level, rebounds straight nd its adjustable nd rust proof so im happy

| nah, there not the same as mine my rear shocks an springs are yellow but have a height adjustable platform which the spring sits on, think thats how all mk4 rear coilovers cum, an the fronts are special chrome silicon steel and zinc plated with fk engraved in them which are silver in colour not yellow, ive had them on since september an am still really pleased with them, but every1s got there own opinion with coilovers, im up on uk-mkIVs and mentioned id put fk ak streets on mine, an there were others on there that had used them aswell and were over the moon with them, but there was this 1 bloke who jst said there a load of bollocks an that ive wasted my money an i should go out an buy another new set that were like £900 or summit stupid like that, an then every1 with fk's turned on him then, he didnt friggin like that i tell ya!! | |
