Respray idea

Im going to spray my Golf mk3 Matte Black but im thinking of putting a colour underneath and taping a word or design over the colour then spraying the black then taking the tape off to have vinyl on my car any ideas??? or should i not bother......

im thinking of gohsted effects at the momment, so u only see th ettering or pictures at sertaing angles

how would the certain angle design work??

wen spraying a car u do it in steps to get the affect

bright basecoat first, then u get ure dsign in a slightly darker shade thn wat the cars going, then u spray thw whole car in a lighter color, then its baked in with some chemihals nd the laquers specal, nd then the design u di appears wen ure closer to it or when the light hits it at different angles

ahhh i get it so its basically a spray all over but the pattern has more coats to its darker on the outer coat??

yea i think, thers lots of different ways

so any ideas for a design???

get some - cant remember for the life of me what there called- nano particlethings there really small mix them in with the paint dor the design and then they`l be perlescent and the black wont be... shouldnt be.
