looking to sell my Golf mk3 1.4 cl 3 door

How much am i looking at so i can look for another car if you need any specifics on the car just say then give me your rough estimate

oh it has morrettes too if that helps

Not being funny here but you can't just say 'mk3 golf 1.4 3 door'

If you want someone to give an estimate you need to provide specifics

depending on condition

no rust
average millage
no engine probles
fsh

probs arround 800 maybee if its mint

ok if you want specifics........

done 133K miles yet the engine is perfect
maritime blue with a black front bumper slight rust on bits of the car but the bumper is being sprayed blue and the rust is being treated

Brand new Back box on it

Is getting an oil change soon (dunno if it matters or not im not a car selling expert)

Wheels are standard

Good tread on the tyre

Brand new CD player but may not sell that with the car

A clean car as in doesnt have huge chav bumpers its a car for anone to keep as is or to mod the only thing on it is a sticker that says fukenbroken on the back window but that is removable

well if i can get 400 i will be landed as i can get the other 95 from selling my air rifle and my bro owes me around £100 ao hopefully if the car i want doesn't get sold (gonna find out tomorrow if its still there and how long he can hold it for me to sell mine) i will be cruising in a faster and better car all round soon

Dont count yourself out yet, Ive seen shite loads of rust bucket MK3's being sold (with high milage, rust etc) going for £800, ones in good condition and low milage sometimes reach over a grand!

Due to mileage, realistically about £300 - £400. Mines only done 80k, and don't think mine's worth much more than that tbh.

Low milage mine was at 80 odd thousand miles. no rust apart from a patch on the rear door that was that small it was unbelievable brilliant condition inside and out and only got £750 and that was for a GTI. Mk3's = pennies. too many of them around and most have problems.

THE UK's most expensive thing in my eyes, you can buy a slightly modded GTI from a forum for that, that includes Scene tax too
Yeah pistonheads may have the same, tbh dude £400 for yours is good, but pictures would be good, my polo only went for £300 and i bought that for £400 and ploughed some cash into it!

If there's low milage, no rust, tax & mot, recent service etc £500 should be alright for yours!

You'll never get back what you do to your car... not at the average ages of the majority of cars on here anyway. The smaller engined ones...

Yeah but 100K isnt exactly classed as low mileage anymore, no matter if its a VW etc
anything over 60-70K is not high mileage due to the current climate

I wasnt referring to his car as low milage, I was giving a general outline...

my cars 98 and 130k, think bout it next year ull get a few 02 and 03 cars on 170k lol


golf gt 150s with 150k are like 4k lol redicilous, but proves tht vws hold there value well

TDi's hold their value. Not necessarily any VW. You can get a Mk4 Golf GTi 1.8 - 2.0l petrol for £1.5k now... on the likes of eBay and AutoTrader I'm sure...

Anyway, £500 tops I'd say personally, (back on topic)... Maybe post a few pics of any dinks, rust / overall condition Gez?

Every 3 years. my step dads company get new vans, the 3 times round this clock they have been Caddys. the last one a 07 plate that went in June 09 has 237k on the clocks, the company bought this for 5.6K off the lease company

this one, is now on 112K on a 09 plate, and its not been used for a 2month period, shows how they hold value, but these are Modern cars not old one...
