fuel starvation?

Hi everyone,

I seem to have a problem with the little polo, recently i'd run out of petrol and tried to fire it up...obviously no luck.......filled the tank and it's ok....but whilst driving along sometimes the car pulls back, loses power then it kicks in again within a second? bogs down?

it happens more when i turn corners.....even at idle it'll sometimes lose revs the a split second later regain them?

any ideas what may be up?

my mk2 did sumthinhg similar

it was going along fine then do as u did, splutter then gain power

but on my car problem was nakerd spark plugs nd ht leads :/
