Finally got my dream car - Scirocco Mk2 Now just have to get him roadworthy :)

Alrite fellow veedubbers? Finally got me a scirocco mk2 which i've been saying i would have since I saw one WAAAY back in the day and now all I have to do is get it fixed up back to it's former beauty.
Looking forward to using the forums. Just had a quick look at some ppls profile pics. Some real nice mods.
Anyway, i'm a total noob to restoring in general so hopefully you nice ppl can help me out a bit when needed n perhaps I can share little bits back later. Take it easy guys n gals.

Just gotta sand it down now, which i've never done, hope i dont crap it up. Then prime and spray it. Bin told it's difficult to touch up metallic black without it showing. Anyone had experience?
