Engine code & gearbox mk3 gti

Hi guys, just bought a 96 mk3 2ltr 8v gti, and im after a gearbox, not desperate but its just stiff going into first gear... (maybe its a clutch issue, or linkage?? im not sure yet)

I know the engine code is AGG, anyone know what box matches up to that engine???

020 normally (rod change) - not sure of the code for ratios though as they came on Mk2 Golfs, Seat Ibizas, Sciroccos, Caddys etc & had different ratios/final drives for some of the petrol & diesel cars

Think you can download a full size pic of this tool, trace it on a plastic cassette case & cut to shape - does the same job

good links buddy!! I think ill try adjusting the alignment first, thats the cheapest to start with anyway...

Just depends when ill get a chance to do it with it goin dark so early and no garage!! lol
