got window probz on the vr6

hi peeps my vr6 has jus started givin me a headache.got a leccy window problem,the window goes down ok but wont come up at all unless you use the key to clse the windows any help wud b much appreciated

ps windows will come up on driver side once you switch ignition off but not on the passenger side sttrrraaannngggeee????????

check the wires behind the front door rubber boot as they break,this is a known fault on mk3s and happened to mine.check that first as its the easiest.

x2 happened on my mk3 golf, central locking fucked, and the windows and it wouldnt start unless the driver door was open
