hi my names tom, i was on here about 2 years ago with my seat arosa but ive just bought a red mk4 golf 1.8t Smile

the only problem is that when i drove it back from london yesterday the oil pump broke and now i might need a new engine! so if any one knows of a AGU engine please let me know as im very gutted!

try ebay mate,, piston heads had a full agu engine , not sure if u cd pik one up of another car fr cheap the 20vt shares lots of componants with various models, id go to a dalership and ask bout part numbers nd search round

No mate im a bricklayer, but do a bit with cars , rebuilt a few engines and other stuff, how do you know its the pump what happened im further up on the corner of coed coch with peulwys lane

A mate of mine who is a mecanic said thats it probaly what went! causing the engine to seize and the camshaft to break Sad he said it might not be knackered but it will cost a bit to have a look so its just worth me getting a new engine .. will be more cost effective in the long run? gutted tho ... but as long as its finished for the summer is all good. what firm you work for?
