| Right as some may know im looking for a 9n 1.9 TDI at the minute,
Went to see a 52 plate one in black today, Was a good car, started straight up, sounded how id expect one to sound, Its had a enw clutch However, the gears fealt weird. didnt feel how they feel in mine, and i know other 9n's (Petrol) have the same feel as mine, but i couldnt fault the car, they selected fine etc, no crunches.
is this just a thing with diesels? As if so, its a bargain (although mileage is high) Mileage is 132,000 Needs a good polish and possibly a new boot lid where its been repaired, but its priced at £2,495 Can anyone shed some light on this and what there views would be?
Also what to check mechanical wise, theres no corrosion on it at all, no scratches, bar the bootlid.
Heres the car in Question http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201110381589713/sort/priceasc/usedcars/fuel-type/diesel/maximum-age/up_to_10_years_old/engine-size-cars/1-7l_to_1-9l/price-to/4000/model/polo/make/volkswagen/radius/1500/page/2/postcode/ll184fy?logcode=p

| is 2495 a particularily good deal with that mileage?
I don't know what these are going for but like rhys said - a diesel engine can take on more miles than a petrol without fault so I wouldnt worry about that - my BMW was on 190k when it went flipperoo and still drove like new (petrol)

| just remember the price is what you pay for, so if they're in good nick they cost more, if less somethings wrong cause who would sell a car cheap if its a very good car?! i wouldnt!!!! looks a tidy car though mate, more money for mods | |
