AUM code 17705 - pressure drop between the turbo and the throttle vlave! HELP!

hey guys
My a3 is startin to p*** me off now Its been losing power after the turbo kicks in and misfiring alot. i put a scanner on and the code 17705 "pressure drop between the turbo and the throttle valve" came up.......i dont have a clue wat is wrong with it. the oil has jus been changed, and also had 4 new plugs put in. If any 1 knows how to fix this i would much appreciate it

cheeck boost pipes and intercooler bud

Iv checked the pipes, there is some stuff near the dump valve but i cant find a split anywhere. Im puttin the car up for sale in the next 2 months so i want it running smoothly

boost drop usually either n75 valve, boost pipe or intercooler :/


smoke test is wat un need

the place ure brother remaped ure car does smoke testing i think


um not sure,, try vag com again nd then chek it up at a vw/audi dealership

Do these have anti Shutters?

Id wack a N75 H on it anyway, good reviews on them on mkiv's £40 from dealers to and is usually a piece of piss to fit.

But i had a similar issue and my anti shutter valce was broke and was kept close now its held open with cable ties

Seen someone else complain of this after a remap, its an issue with the map itself apparently.

REVO have released a map that apparently sorts the issue.

Cant be the map as its been running without fault for over a year with the custom map.

boost pipes intercooler or sender guaranteed i recon, usually a valve maybee dunno,


chipin through ure intercooler on a 'slow' drive

Its had a forge 007p recirc valve, they dont usualy tend to go, unlike the standard naff plastic diaphram ones :S

Is there anyone i can take it to? I cant find the problem myself or even fix it. Need it done asap becuase it will be going up 4 sale soon.

And this week it has been gettin worse Wen i drop down a gear the exhaust makes 1 big pop n the engine light flashes for like 10 seconds, only happens sometimes though
