lupo info !!

im jus about to get a lupo !!! but can anyone tell me the difference between the 1.4e and the 1.4 sport ????

1.4 e is 75 bhp and 1.4 sport is 100 bhp

centre exit exhaurst on the sports

Cat & mouse interior is standard in them I think, optional gti front seats

excellent cheers lads, went and picked it up today, looks sweet, kus needs that few extra horse tho !!! oh its the "E" i got in the end as it was about the best out the 2. jet black with black and red seats, needs a few trivial jobs doin on it, is there anyone selling any bits ???

p.s is there any probs with the temp gauges ????

hey mate my temp guage only works when it wants to and i will soon have some funky wheels up for sale on the cheap with decent usable tires

Yeah temp gauge on ours is hit and miss. The rest of the car is just poo, looking at getting rid of it.

Oh rite , I got a lupo s and I think its great , what's up with yours ?

Keeps going into limp mode when my Mrs has it. Happened at least three times now so she's robbed my car and sounds like the clutch release bearing is sticking making a high pitch grinding on biting point. It's only done 80k on a 52 plate and becoming a pain in the arse compared to an R reg Golf. Other than that when it's running okay it's spot on can't complain....about form the temp guage.

its common for it to go into limp mode when the brake light switch is damaged mate ,
and the cluch problem sounds nasty unlucky man

i had loads of running issues with mine..got that temp switch sorted think it was about 7.00 from advance motors !! its been spot on since starts first time everytime

Took it to the garage this morning and clutch is fubar and vag com saying there's a misfire on cylinder two. So new clutch and cylinder going cost me £485 notes. Gutted but hopefully it will be okay once it's done.

Well it cost £396 in the end, thrust bearing had broke so new clutch and coil pack should have this Lupe running sweet now...Touch wood.
