Got a mk3 golf tdi with ahu engine, since getting it, its felt underpowered, and flat on boost,

Have changed the coolant temp srnsor and drilled airbox which made a tiny improvement.

Thinking n75 now are they meant to tick when ignition on? Mine doesnt!!!

Also when its warmed up after a run when started it revs to 2k then idles normal, where as cold its starts normaly :-s

id test another n75 first (they are extremely reliable parts) Sounds like a boost leak though...

Same set up as my old bora... I had a issue with my anti-shudder, and the a MAF/Sensor

VagCom will guide you in the right direction

You can buy a cable off ebay and run the free VCDS to diagnose it
