and oh my fucking god, a golf hittin an object at 30mph---- VERY scary, considering mine isn`t happy unless its plodding along..

ive seen that before too, but come on now its disgraceful - if i was into those id trailer it everywhere.

might put a limiter on the golf AKA block of wood taped to throttle pedal to not allow any speeds over 30 Crying or Very sad

i always thought of the old cars the lil golfs felt theh strongest, maybe that one in the test was a pre 90 spec that has no side impact bars LMAO - a pole in the door!

A lot of that is crap anyways... I crashed my Mk1 Golf Cab @ 150kph into a cement electrical pole... the impact was so hard that the pole even shifted 10cm's and broke Neutral

I was fine and the car engine only needed a new rad and oil filter.. of course the body needed jigging, new bonnet and new front slam panel stuff :p

But it has to be said that I ended up with the A6 because the wife found that the VW Passat had a worse NCAP rating... which is what I was aiming for originally :\ Lovely wide arch bodykit for it :p
