Started removing the bump strips on the right hand side today, Not as easy as i thought, The Adhesive is attatched pretty firmly to the paint work, Paint also has a few chips underneeth

ALSO To my annoyance, of many people telling me to use Terps (White Spirt) and Petrol, It makes my paint cloudy, Not had a impressive day at all, looks like i can see myself trying to get someone to sand down/ primer and spray the areas needed now :@

Im Hopeless as spraying thats why.

i hate ebay.

never sell on ebay either:-

for a glossy advert with all the trimmings, gallery and thumbnail etc it costs up to £20.

then they take 10% of the final value up to £40 - that means if you sell something for £350 quid with a bling feature packed advert you have paid about £50 in advertising, the fees used to be about 4-5% years back - greedy fuckers...

plus then if you use paypal they then rob a further 3.9% and 20p (of the final auction price - not the price minus commision from ebay.

so in effect ebay take from a simple 1p listing payed with paypal 15% of your total item value.

if its was an alternator it would still start on a new battery untill the battery became doiscahrged - ignore your uncle.

wouldn`t bother sending it to vw either as most of them wont be current on the vehicle so will gash it.

start a new topic with the exact sypmtoms and maybe someone will help
