urgent help needed !!!!

the missus has been useing my car allthough she has been useing std unleaded instead of optimax till now there has been no probs !!!! the management light has come on and its gone into limp mode !!! running like a bag of camel crap does anyone local to conwy have vagcom that could help me out ??? she neeeds it for work and typical ive taken my t4 off the rd so im stuck !!!

p.s.. forgot to mention what car..its an a3 1.8t quattro !!!

i have vagcom on my laptop, but no cable and no idea how to use it lol :L

if anybody has a cable and knows how to use it then ill be happy to lend my laptop

yeh, i have a green mk2 but the bonnet aint painted black, its ome crazy vw shit on there that martian and a load of other lads dun when he owned it!

they were on my civic, they got mint tyres on em so its all good!

ive still got them front carrado seats if you want them btw

sounds like your higher grade fuel has had a bit of a reaction with the lambda probe, you can clear the fault with any obd2 code reader or as said vagcom.

by plugging it in may uncover something non fuel related.

ive just helpd an obd2 lead in my dining room, but i suspect windows 7 is not compatible... so if you have an xp laptop you are welcome to borrow it

i never managed to get it working with vista at all!! have a read on rosstech and see what you think - they say it is compatible with 7 but i dont want to promise anything

im in llandudno, they could be gone by half 8 tonight
