ive basically made my mind up anyways bout few weeks ago lol just wasnt sure on colours, but i recon the matty black colour will go well with the car nd hopefully mke my car look nice, once i get these (hopefully if my funds are right lol ) i will then get the car lowered butonly about 35mm or 40, i really dnt wanna hit mu sump on anything lol

Thing is will you actually hit your sump? have you heard of any cases? as I know this is a issue for the lads with the VR6 engine in the golf an the corrado but never heard of it on a 1.8t as its only a small engine in comparison. Btw I like the wheels, but make sure you get them in the correct width, or else they'd look poo as they wont be like the 1's you posted with abit of a dish. plus u posted them on a S3 an they got flared arches, an the only thing I disagree with black wheels as you cant realy see the wheels when your driving along, If your going black u might aswell go for plain S3 wheels? Id go for gunmetal personally then you can see the contours of the wheel. otherwise black just looks like an extension of you tyre.

fair input, ye offset is fine and 225s fit nicly in the right place on an a3, im debating at the momment asweel, cus the one under the black ones are 4 sale in conwy quite cheep, so id be tempted for them, dpendig on the extent of the damage thoug :s

but the black ones look shit hot standing, nd wdnt mind bit of black on the car, as all silver wd look strnge :s

Off topic here but has anyone seen the Maroon-Purple Alfa Romeo 156 with these wheels on in silver? It's usually in Port or Caernarfon mostly, they look sexy on any car!
