| Hey guys need your opinion . I've been offered a 1L polo for £200 off a friend with mot till December and 10 months tax. I'm currently on my mum's insurance cause its cheaper I'm just thinking would this be a good car to get my no claims on? I could lower it and give it some rims and it would look quite nice. Its this colour Btw im 18 and been driving for over a year. What u think? Could make an interesting project | |

| yeah, go for it, you can do a lot to a 6n to make it look good, an at that price you cant really go wrong. You could strip it an make more than the asking price if anything is terminal. | |

| i think the 1l 6n`s the worst car ive ever driven tbh - my sis has one and the handeling is so great ive had a few pannels off owains one he`s breaking... having said that with coilies and some wider rubber it would be an amazing handeling car i dont understand why vw made it that bad. | |

| they put better shocks on other versions so it would probably cost about £7.82 to put them on the 1l - in fact less because they wouldnt of had to design some shit ones to put on the 1l :L soz | |

| nout wrong with the little 1litre i got down to cardiff an back on £45 of fuel...yeah it's slow....but i'm paying £320 on insurance fully comp with direct line....i am 24 though, but i insured my golf mk2 gti 1.8 8v,2 years ago, it was the first car i insured myself and i got it fully comp for £538? they usually give out good quotes....well they have for me anyway... don't go on CONFUSED or COMPARE THE MARKET!!! they include the middle man who gets a nice little sum off you..... as well as being sky high insurance Direct line are the insurance company no middle man costs good luck | |
