| I've bought a back box , but it doesn't have any brackets? Could I take them off the old standard one and weld em on to this for it to sit right? I'm also looking for a cheap de-cat and center section , to try and get the best note and power out of the diesel lol! Any one got any recomendations or places to get em from? (add cheap as poss, I'm skint :L ) thanks Geth | |

| cheapnesss is,,, by a straight pipe and cut and weld and to fit your back box ull have to cut the zorst anyways as the things one piece but before you do any of that measure the thickness of your exhaust and tehn the diametre of the inlet for your backbox as u may need a reducer | |

| If im honest id keep it hidden and do a downpipe and decat... that will then set you up perfect for a map... You may get a bit more smoke... (well a fair bit more) but itll be worth it... | |

| my opinion milteck aint wrth the money,,, they are way too expensive,,,,
my opinion,, if u know sumone who can weld make ure own system,, mines home made does the treat,,unique notes haha
but buy a downpipe,, dont bother miltek,,milteks just a tag ,,, a 3 inch stainless ownpipe is a 3 inch stainless downpipe
sorry bout the rant but people paying through their arse fr a name,,,,, wled the fuking logo onto teh exhaust if u wanna bot haha | |

| I want a bot of exhaust tip showing lol! , and not keen on the re map as due to my high milage I don't want to break anything :L Probably will end up going home made :L , does the note get louder when you take silencers out on diesels like a petrol? First diesel as you can tell , thanks | |

| diesels aare different in tune,, diesels wont give u a high noise,, but gives very torqy sound (cant describe but its cool ) umm ye get a rear valance (dont cut cumper ,,i did this on my mk4 nd well, was a mess lol ) and high millage means nothing m8 ,,,, bmw (during the turbo era) wd use bmw blocks thts done at least 160k , because all the imperfections and weaknes in the cast casing wd of gone by tehn, so now they know the blocks faking solid | |
